I have been a proud member of The SteelDrivers since Jan 2012. They asked me to become a partner when founding member Mike Henderson left the band.

I had pretty much settled into a life of studio work but when the opportunity arose to play some blues grass I jumped back into the road life. And we won a Grammy!

Alison Krauss has been one of my bluegrass buddies for a long time. We grew up together in the midwest.
She asked me to play mandolin on her TWO HIGHWAYS record. Part of  that project was included on this platinum selling greatest hits collection, NOW THAT I'VE FOUND YOU.

When I was a kid I'd play along with the music on Dolly's TV show. Getting to play mandolin on her HALOS & HORNS record and world tour was a wonderful, almost surreal experience. 

Dolly is absolutely one of a kind. Most famous. Most down to earth.

This DVD was recorded live onstage at Dollywood during the sold out Halos and Horns Tour.

I was honored to join up with the lovely and talented Dixie Chicks for a non stop world tour in support of their HOME record.

This live DVD showcases how much fun we had on stage every night. It was a wild ride.

Antoine Silverman, a first call session violinist in NYC, hired  me to play mandolin and record the music for this HBO movie.
